Web Application Developer

Web Application Developer (Full-time):

The web application developer will update existing web-based applications and develop a new database driven web-based solution to interface with C-Team LAN-based logistics management solutions.
Main responsibilities include:

• Participate and contribute to functional and detail design sessions
• Maintain and enhance existing web-based cargo tracking and data entry tools.
• Develop new custom web-based application for generating online database reports that can be printed, downloaded in a variety of formats, scheduled and distributed as needed
• Develop web-based database management, application maintenance tools and performance measurement tools to support the application.
• Prepare technical documentation for content authors and system administrators as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years experience developing web-based application solutions
• Demonstrated experience with PHP, HTML, CGI script, CSS, Javascript and/or other web scripting languages.
• Demonstrate experience designing user friendly web-based interfaces for non-technical users.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in building web-based solutions working with SQL databases (MySQL and Firebird SQL).
• Demonstrated experience is problem solving to resolve complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
• College diploma or University Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience with source code management and software release management and version control.
• Experience with logistics or freight or freight management systems an asset.
